Use the importer for Gerber Pattern Design

Using the Gerber Pattern Design importer

1. Prepare the files using Gerber Pattern Design

• The procedure for exporting data from Gerber Pattern Design will be updated.

2. Import the files generated by Gerber Pattern Design into Pesipiuma

• Open the Report Editor for the desired model

• Click the Gerber Data Import button in the left sidebar

• In the Gerber Data Import window you can set a default coefficient and rounding. If not specified, the default coefficient is 0 and rounding is to the tenth of a gram.

• Click the Select file button to choose the .xls or .xlsx file exported from Gerber PDS.

• Select Import all sheets as sizes only if a single Excel file with multiple sheets for the graded sizes was created. Otherwise import each size separately.

• Click Import. After processing the file, the report editor will display the list of pieces with their sections created automatically and the list of sizes, also created automatically if the option Import all sheets as sizes was selected.

At this point simply edit where necessary the quantities and coefficients for pieces whose values differ from the default.
